Obi-Wan Kenobi is one of the highly anticipated Disney+ Star Wars shows. But there’s not much that’s known about it. We do know it has begun filming in the UK and that the show will follow a timeline where it will be set a decade after Revenge of the Sith. Thankfully it has also been confirmed that Ewan McGregor is indeed back to star as Obi-Wan himself.

Also to add to the happy news, Hayden Christensen has also been confirmed to appear as Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker again. As for what the show will be about, we have a synopsis now which says:

“Tatooine, a desert planet where farmers work hard under the heat of two suns. Meanwhile, they try to defend themselves and their loved ones from the Tusken marauders. A planet behind the edge of civilization. And a place where it would be unlikely to find a Jedi master, or an orphan child on whom the future of the entire galaxy weighs on its small shoulders.”

So we must ask the question now:

Will Obi-Wan Meet Up With Ahsoka Tano?

If you are raising eyebrows at this then we would like you to reconsider once. After all, Ahsoka was Anakin’s padawan and as such it’s quite possible that both of them will be meeting soon.

Another hint pointing towards this meeting is the fact that Tano was recently introduced in The Mandalorian season 2 (chapter 13) as well. So she is already a part of the live-action Disney+ Star Wars Universe.

Not to mention that Tano will be having her own Disney+ show as well. So with Lucasfilm and Disney getting more and more interested in creating a shared cinematic Star Wars Universe, it’s possible that both the characters will meet.

What Will The Disney+ Series Ahsoka Be About?

It’s been said that Ahsoka will continue on her story arc as it was shown in The Mandalorian. But that’s not all, it’s being said that The Clone Wars and Rebels storylines will also play a huge role in it. In the beginning, Ahsoka will begin her show searching for Thrawn as well as Ezra Bridger.

Timeline Matches Up For Ahsoka Meeting Kenobi

As for Ahsoka meeting Kenobi, it does make sense more if you consider that the decade after Revenge of the Sith was a very ambiguous one for Tano. But E.K. Johnston’s Ahsoka novel did reveal that she was working with the Rebels during that of 18BBY (that is a year after Revenge of the Sith).

Now, the Kenobi show will happen during 9BBY. So it will in fact take place right in that 13-year time gap that saw Ahsoka working with Bail Organa and his Rebellion. So we might see Ahsoka going on missions with others or even alone against the mighty Empire. As a result, she could find herself encountering the Inquisitors who were hunting Kenobi. So they could meet directly or indirectly.

But right now there’s no official confirmation that Ahsoka and Obi-Wan will meet. But seeing as Lucasfilm wants to make The Mandalorian, the epicenter around which other Star Wars shows will revolve, so Tano showing up with Kenobi will only solidify this idea more. Also, fans and Disney executives love Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka Tano) and they will surely be looking forward to working more will her.

But will this meeting actually happen? What do you think?
