Disney Hires Top-Tier Talent

Neil Patrick Harris is cast in Star Wars Visions

Neil Patrick Harris is cast in Star Wars Visions

With Star Wars: Visions, Disney is showing its commitment towards maintaining high standards for its Disney+ content. The collaboration with Japanese studios and A-list voice actors shows how seriously they are taking this anime adventure.

This is very much like Marvel Studios’ What If…?, where Disney also went with top-tier voice acting talents that would have rivaled their big-budget adventures on the silver screen.

Along with talent making their debut in the Star Wars universe, comes the return of Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett. He is the only returning character listed in the cast charts.

Right now, we don’t know whether Visions was originally created with an English or Japanese-speaking cast in mind. This is because typically anime projects will be made with Japanese actors and during the western release have English voice actors dubbed over them. But it’s expected that more information will come out soon.

Star Wars: Visions will premiere on September 22, 2021, exclusively on Disney+.
