Sadie Sink, who plays Max Mayfield in the popular Stranger Things series on Netflix, is reportedly being considered by Marvel Studios for the part of Songbird in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to rumors.

We are left with little choice except to grasp at any rumors that surface and engage in baseless speculation about their authenticity until Kevin Feige and Disney release an official statement. Sadie Sink, the star of Stranger Things, is supposedly being considered for the role of Songbird in Thunderbolts next year; however, we should note that the rumor first appeared on Reddit.

The star is in negotiations to play the key role of Songbird in Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the upcoming Thunderbolts. Even though Thunderbolts in 2024 is one of the MCU’s most eagerly awaited films, a large number of new cast members are joining the group.

Who Is Songbird ?

Songbird had a tough childhood with an abusive father and a mother who was detained. Later, she was given a special device that turned her voice itself into a lethal weapon. She can identify and eliminate adversaries using astounding abilities like sound waves and a hypnotic melody, and the sheer power of her voice can render practically anyone helpless because she can build solid structures only out of sounds.
The antihero/villain is particularly well-known for her unusual hairdo, which consists of long white hair with crimson or pink streaks running through it. Sadie Sink’s distinctive red hair might make her physically fit into this part with ease, and she could also offer a glimpse at Songbird in her formative years.

Songbird has served as the Thunderbolts team’s second-in-command in the Marvel comics. Melissa Gold, also known as Screaming Mimi, was a teammate of the Avengers as well as the Masters of Evil and the Mighty Avengers in the past. Songbird has a powerful voice and a striking hairdo with long white hair that has crimson or pink streaks running the length of it.

Although the Thunderbolts group announced so far only consists of MCU alumni like Yelena Belova, the Winter Soldier, and U.S. Agent, the project is still in its early stages of production. Sink would undoubtedly add excitement to the film, especially since it would be her MCU debut and introduce an extremely powerful new character to the plot.
