1. Valkyrie

Ever since Valkyrie was introduced in Thor: Ragnarok she has fit in perfectly with Thor’s sense of humor. She has proved to be the worthy King of Asgard. In the MCU during both Ragnarok and Endgame she fights like the warrior she is and courageously faces every danger. Her life before the birth of Thor and her adventures in Sakaar are great plot points that can be explored. Valkyrie’s journey as the King of the Asgardian people is also an interesting storyline that can genuinely explore the effects of the blip and how the Asgardians had to adjust to life on Earth in the MCU.

2. Wong

The Sorcerer Supreme, Wong, has proved himself to be much more than just comic relief or a librarian. He has proved himself to be a fun yet responsible, powerful yet cautious leader who is also a great friend. It would be great to see him in a solo movie, exploring his training to become the Sorcerer Supreme and his journey ahead in the MCU.

3. Bucky Barnes

The Winter Soldier or Bucky Barnes has had one of the most intriguing and complex histories of any character in the MCU. His past, trauma, brainwashing and assassin training can be explored further. It would be a tragedy to have such a great character and not give him a solo movie. He especially won hearts during Falcon and the Winter Soldier and fans want more.

4. Nick Fury

Fury is arguable the most badass boss in the MCU. He has faced many difficulties in his career in S.H.I.E.L.D. However, he is determined, enduring and has the best poker face. We have barely seen him in the MCU despite the great comic storylines that he has been a part of. Nick Fury definitely deserved a solo movie which could also explore the inner workings of S.H.I.E.L.D.

5. Xu Wenwu

The Mandarin was introduced during Shang Chi and briefly went through his history. However, it barely scratched the surface. Xu Wenwu has lived for centuries and was once the most feared man in the world. He created an empire with his Ten Rings organization and wielded immense power and connections. He was written off too quickly in the MCU to act as a stepping stone for Shang Chi. Nonetheless, his character and past deserves a movie.

6. M’Baku

He is strong, funny, loyal and extremely under used. We saw mere glimpses of him in both Black Panther and Infinity Wars. M’Baku lives a life separated from the rest of Wakanda in the snowy mountains without Vibranium. The MCU can explore this character along with the Jabari tribe and their life without Vibranium. It would give fans a new perspective on Wakanda and all the different tribes it houses.

7.Frigga

Her death was one of the most unfortunate ones. Frigga is an extremely underrated character in the MCU. She was raised by witches and was responsible for teaching all the magic that Loki knows. While being a compassionate mother she is also a fierce and powerful warrior. Her story and past gives MCU the chance to explore Asgardian magic in depth while also using it to further Loki’s character arc.

8. Maria Hill

Maria Hill has had barely any screen time in the MCU. Her character is a great example of a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who can handle both the technical stuff and the combat stuff. She is set to appear in Secret Invasion but a solo adventure would still be great.

9. Xu Xialing

After her father’s death, Xu Xialing took over the Ten Rings organization and became their new leader. This along with her tough childhood and creating a superhuman fighting ring, she is literally full of potential. Her character would give MCU another opportunity to launch a strong female lead and do her more more justice than they did to Black Widow.

10. Nakia

Nakia in Black Panther

Not only is Nakia a great warrior but she is also a spy as seen in Black Panther. Her role in the MCU has been pretty nonexistent although we will get to see her in Black Panther 2. She is an extremely skilled character who can also dance and speak Korean. Even more importantly, she is extremely empathetic and kind as she fights for women and girls in trouble.
