The latest episode of The Mandalorian, Chapter 20, surprised fans with the unexpected appearance of actor Temuera Morrison, who played Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones and all the clone troopers in the prequel trilogy. In this episode, Morrison portrayed multiple clone troopers from the 501st Legion in a flashback sequence rescuing Grogu from the Jedi Temple.

While it was previously confirmed that Morrison would reprise his role as Boba Fett in Season 3, his return as a clone trooper was unexpected. This may be the last time Morrison appears as a clone trooper in the current season of The Mandalorian, but he may return as one or multiple clones in other projects.

The Mandalorian storyline is still unfolding, and it is expected that Din Djarin will call for Boba Fett’s aid in a major conflict. However, even if Morrison is not the voice behind a clone in The Mandalorian, he may return as one in other projects. For instance, it is possible that Morrison could play Captain Rex in Ahsoka or Commander Cody in a second season of Obi-Wan Kenobi, which originally planned to include Cody as a major character.
