Disney and Lucasfilm have released the entirety of Star Wars: Visions. So fans can stream the entire season on Disney+ while they are waiting for The Book of Boba Fett to premiere in December.

Boba Fett was welcomed back to canon in season 2 of The Mandalorian. His presence confirmed the theories that said that he had survived falling into the Sarlacc pit in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

Many thought that Boba Fett would probably only make a cameo in The Mandalorian or be there for a relatively short period of time. But he was involved with the series a lot.

Actually, his screen time in the show was exceptionally more than what he had in the Original Trilogy even. After all, he helped Din Djarin, and even in the final few episodes, when they were chasing Moff Gideon to get Grogu back, Boba was the one who showed up for one final time in the season finale.

We saw Jabba’s Palace located on Tatooine and then saw Fennec Shand and Boba walk inside. They took out the guards and Bib Fortuna as well so that Boba could get the throne.

When the screen faded to black, we all gasped as the words “The Book of Boba Fett” appeared on the screen. After this, the release date of December 2021 was shown on screen.

The show is going to be produced and directed by Robert Rodriguez. Viewers of The Mandalorian will probably remember that he had directed an episode of the show.

Nothing much is known about The Book of Boba Fett till now. Only recently was an official poster released, and the December 29, 2021 premiere date was confirmed. But fans should be able to see a trailer soon as well as know more about the series.

We are guessing that more information will come to light on Disney+ Day. However, a new rumor has come up that will surely tide fans over till they get official information.

A new leak of a scene from the show featuring a Rancor is doing the rounds on the internet. Star Wars News Net, a Star Wars news site recently described a scene that will take place in the show.

In the scene, Boba Fett is going to interact with a light-colored Rancor on Tatooine. Now, the leak didn’t say whether Boba will be fighting the beast or riding it.

The leak just revealed that he will be situated in the upper part of its back. Many people are expecting this show to be an eight-episode adventurous ride with Boba Fett that’s full of action.

A majority of Boba’s life has been spent under Jabba the Hurt on the desert planet of Tatooine. And seeing where his story left off in The Mandalorian, it makes sense that a sizeable portion of the show is set there.

It’s possible that the Rancor scene will show up at the beginning of the show. Hell, it might even be in the very first episode itself. After all, Boba Fett riding on a Rancor would be a great way to get the show going. Fans will also know just how crazy the show will be from the beginning.

Boba Fett Will Tie In To The Mandalorian

As said before, no one knows much about the plot till now. But it has been confirmed that the show will directly tie into The Mandalorian. In fact, it has been said that The Book of Boba Fett will be season 2.5 of The Mandalorian.

No matter how you choose to view it. It’s clear that the show will help expand the entire Mandoverse that Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau clearly want to build.

Also, rumors are swirling that Boba will be going back to Din Djarin over the course of the series. And this is supposed to set up the third season of The Mandalorian.

However, the possibility of the two of them being together on Tatooine will be really slim. But that hasn’t stopped rumors about Din Djarin’s appearance from spreading.

This is because many think that it will be Mandalore where the two hunters meet up. Right now, Star Wars fans will be looking forward to The Book of Boba Fett. And if these leaks are anything to go by, then the show is going to be wildly entertaining.

The Book of Boba Fett will begin streaming on December 29 on Disney+.
