HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us has sparked debate among fans over the changes made to the death of character Tess. In the game, Tess simply tells Joel and Ellie to leave and then gets shot, but in the show, she dies while sharing a “disgusting” kiss with a zombie after being infected, before blowing up the entire building and taking out several of the infected. While some fans find the “zombie kiss” death to be more impactful and convincing, others feel it was unnecessary and out of place.
HBO rlly said “since we no longer have GOT to do gross inc*st scenes lets do a F*CKING ZOMBIE KISS scene in The Last of Us”

Why that bitch kiss that zombie in the last of us instead of just using a grenade?
People saying her game death was heroic… No. She was practically instantly shot and that was that. Was the "kiss of death" scene in the show disgusting? Yes. But she went out with a bang. Pardon the pun. She took out a whole bunch of infected. That, to me, was more badass.
