The news that Kang would finally make an appearance in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has us unable to contain our excitement.
Reddit and 4chan are flooded with fan theories as the release date for the third Ant-Man movie approaches. Some theories may be over the top, but others are very reasonable.
Out of the many theories that are currently circulating online, we’ll be talking about and analyzing one such fan theory today.
I can assure you that fans are in for a huge rollercoaster ride if this theory is confirmed in the movie.

The Council Of Kangs

The superheroes of Earth-616 who now have awareness of the multiverse are to be annihilated by Kang and the Council of Kangs once he escapes the Quantum realm following the events of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Loki in Avengers: Kang Dynasty would explain to the heroes of 616 that following He Who Remains’s death, the sacred timeline split off into alternative timelines, eventually giving rise to numerous Kangs. These Kangs have constructed interlinked realities, which they now rule after taking on the role of “He Who Remains” (this will be explored in Loki Season 2).

Wanda’s Role

Wanda Maximoff

Killing every Kang that gains awareness of the multiverse and becomes a war-monger is the only way to stop him. This can be accomplished by making use of a nexus being like Wanda Maximoff, who has the power to eliminate all variants of a subject or object (as demonstrated in Multiverse of Madness when she eliminates the Darkhold) and to prevent those variants from ever resurfacing through the use of a probability hex.

What Is A Nexus Being ?

The course of the universal time stream can be changed by Nexus Beings, which are exceptional individual entities with the power to influence probabilities and the future. The final consistency and durability of the multiverse depend on these entities, each of which is known as a nexus, which serve as its foundation. Nexus Beings are closely monitored by cosmic forces such as the Time Variance Authority and the Time-Keepers in order for them to be aware of any chronological disturbances that the nexus beings may cause to the time stream and respond appropriately.

Each of the alternate realities of the multiverse is said to have a single nexus entity that perfectly represents the characteristics of that world and acts as the center or foundation of that universe. Each being also serves as the world’s center for mystical energy. No two nexus beings can coexist on the same level of reality, and they can only be apparitionally projected onto other dimensions when one of them is an active nexus entity.

The Incursions

But as all of this is going on, incursions are causing the multiverse to collapse. The Council will suffer a setback because this might undo everything they accomplished. They are unaware that one of their own, Kang Prime, committed this act (the one in Quantumania).

Kang Prime Is Betraying The Council

Kang

In order to get the Council to send him to the Quantum realm, Kang Prime has been surreptitiously betraying them. He views the intrusions as a means of both overthrowing them and completely reimagining the multiverse. He needs specific items, such as Shang-Chi’s rings and Kamala Khan’s bangles, to initiate incursions. Wanda is his secret weapon since he can befriend her and use her ability to bend reality to his will to reenact everything as he deems appropriate.

He claims that the incursions were caused by the heroes travelling to different universes in order to divert the Council’s attention from his true motives. He can then use the Council to assassinate the heroes of 616 while remaining undetected.

Battleworld And Secret Wars

The deception is discovered by the council, but it is already too late. Wanda is used by Kang Prime to overthrow the Council, and the last incursion is used to reconstruct the multiverse in Battleworld, his own timeline.

While some of the heroes have their memories erased and are drawn into this new dimension, the others manage to flee into the Quantum realm before the ultimate incursion.

In Secret Wars, the surviving heroes will travel back to Battleworld and gather the heroes from many realities in order to confront Kang and save the Multiverse.

TL;DR

Kang's Scars
Kang

The banishment of Kang to the Quantum Realm has Kang furious with the Council of Kangs. He therefore begins quietly triggering incursions using Shang-Chi’s rings and Ms. Marvel’s bangles in order to eliminate them and take control of the multiverse. He blames the heroes in order to divert the Council, and after the final incursion, he uses Wanda to overthrow the Council and establish Battleworld. While some heroes are being brainwashed, others are navigating their way inside the Quantum Realm.

The Beyonder

That might be the case, and from the storyline leaks we’ve seen, it appears that he drops dead after being kicked into his multiversal engine. In Marvel, you know that nobody ever really stays dead. Because of this, we wouldn’t be shocked if the same Kang reappeared after gaining abilities from the multiverse engine and taking on the role of the new Beyonder, as suggested by various leaks and rumors.
