What if I told you that it wasn’t Dr. Strange, Iron Man, or any of the other Avengers who defeated Thanos in Avengers Endgame, but the goddamn Rat who pulled Scott Lang back from the quantum realm?
You’ll laugh at me. just as everyone laughed at the premise that a rat was the cause of Thanos’ downfall and criticized Marvel for its lazy work.
It appears that this was not sloppy writing but rather a well-thought-out plot all along.
What if I told you that The Rat was a key component of Kang’s plan ?

The rat sprinted over the switches of the Quantum Tunnel in the van, allowing Ant-Man to return to the present day. When Ant-Man was collecting particles in the Quantum Realm, there was a control panel that they used to bring him in and out of the Quantum Realm. Following the snap, the individuals in charge of the Quantum Tunnel from the outside (Hope, Hank Pym, and Janet Van Dyne) were dusted, and everything remained as it was.

I’m thinking that while humanity was trying to rebuild and reconstruct society after the snap, they put a lot of the dusted people’s belongings in storage, which explains how the van wound up in the storage facility at the start of Avengers: Endgame. The one where the rat accidentally frees Ant-Man from the Quantum Realm is the one they win out of the 14 million possibilities predicted by Dr. Strange.

I’ll tell you who the rat was—the universe’s savior. Without that rat, Ant-Man would have remained stuck in the quantum realm, and the Avengers would not have discovered time travel. So let us thank that rat for every future Marvel movie.

Kang Needed The Avengers To Discover Time Travel

Kang devised the rat that freed Scott from the quantum realm at random in Endgame. We know Kang manipulates the past to set conditions for conquering the future of a reality—he needs the Avengers to discover time travel and the quantum realm.

Kang runs the MCU; he paves the road, and free choice does not exist; thus, everything happens according to the will of He who remains, so The Rat is certainly part of Kang’s plan.
