The Witcher Season 2 Appears to Tease Significant Character Death

Based on one of the best-selling book series of polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, The  Witcher is an American-Polish fantasy, live-action series created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich.  It focuses on the story of a Witcher, Geralt of Rivia who is a monster slayer, and in a world where people often proves more mischievous than beasts he tries to struggle and find his place.

The 1st season of this series consists of 8 episodes and was premiered on 20  December 2019, immediately caught the attention of the audience which can be delineated by its huge success.

The 2nd season of this fan-favourite series was delayed amid the coronavirus pandemic and also because of the injury of the lead actor, Henry Cavill. Some days back the Netflix released a tiny teaser depicting the first look of the series which focused on Princess Cirilla and her training, probably in Kaer Morhen.

But unlike this, the second teaser released by  Netflix solely focused on everyone’s favourite monster hunter, Geralt of Rivia. Honestly, there is not much to the trailer but some of the scenes were enough to lit the folks.

Well as it is known that the teaser revolved around Geralt, there was a scene where Geralt will enter into a catastrophic fight and then the emblem of fallen witchers was seen hanging on a tree, indicating that at least one Witcher is dying in the season. Now it is not known exactly which character is that, but it’s not for nothing when Witcher characters are introduced and would to be super relevant and major to find out which character was that.

Vesemir And Geralt

Many speculations have arouse for who it could be, the names such as Vesemir, Eskel, and Leo Bonhart are being assumed but for right now there is not any relevant information that confirms any of these characters.

Right now all that we have is speculation that a major death is coming, and everybody is waiting for the crew, cast or Netflix to comment or suppress the speculation but it is assumed that this is only what the teaser wanted to convey to the fans.

Since the release of its season 1, the show always had some big hype to live up to. The story can drag a bit so it isn’t perfect but that’s not enough to overshadow the positive aspects of the series.

The Witcher folks are waiting for the story to be progressed in some fascinating way, as this series brings out voguish action in an alluring way with its sharp wit and incredible characters. It doesn’t matter if you are a fantasy fan or not because the Witcher would probably provide something to love. The Witcher season 2 is expected to release sometime later this year.
