The Witcher Season 2 Teaser Might Have Revealed First Look At Vesemir

The Witcher streaming on Netflix is an American-Polish fantasy drama television series,  inspired by medieval land masses. The series mainly focuses on The Witcher, Geralt of Rivia and crown princess Cirilla who are linked by destiny, and sorceress Yennefer of  Vengerberg. It is an epic tale of family and fate based on the fantasy series and novels, The  Last Wish and Sword of Destiny by Andrzej Sapkowski. The creator and executive producer is Lauren Schmidt, the showrunner for the series.

Recently the official page of The Witcher and the actor Henry Cavill shared a new teaser from season 2 of the series which mainly concentrated on the fan-favourite character  Geralt, The Witcher.

From the latest post of the teaser, it can be determined that how impressively Netflix can fit so much in such a small runtime, although it was brief many notable events can be procured from it.

The two procured shots from the teaser showed a character standing next to Geralt with grey hair and a brown outfit, and that appeared to be like Vesemir and in another shot, the witcher emblem could be seen hanging behind them which appears to be Kaer Morhen.

Geralt was seen simulating a battle against a vampire and also using a cat potion, he appeared to be standing in a sequence with Vesemir, and their swords were drawn but it was not clear against whom they had drawn.

In another shot the character was seen with grey hair, sporting some armour, combined with the sword and it could be extracted that it was Vesemir. It would be very thrilling and exciting for The Witcher folks to see their beloved character join the live-action franchise and especially when at Kaer Morhen, Princess Cirilla would be seen training with The Witcher.

The curiosity for the teaser trailer of Yennefer begins among the fans. Well, the official description of the Witcher, season 2 states that

“Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the continent’s kings, elves, humans, and demons  strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more  dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.”

The star cast explores Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Freya Allan as Princess Cirilla, Anya  Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson as Eist, Jodhi May as Calanthe,  Therica Wilson-Read as Sabrina, Adam Levy as Mousesack, Emma Appleton as Renfri, Joey  Batey as Jaskier, Royce Pierreson as Istredd, Wilson Radjou-Pujalte as Dara, Mimi Ndiweni as  Fringilla, MyAnna Buring as Tissaia, Lars Mikkelsen as Stregobor, Eamon Farren as Cahir,  Maciej Musial as Sir Lazlo and Anna Shaffer as Triss.

It can be said that the teaser may not be a gigantic reveal for The Witcher folks but since the series was procrastinated by a year due to the coronavirus pandemic, so this little disclosure would be enough for the fans to be excited again.
