In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Professor X might be working with the evil version of Dr. Strange, who could be working with him. The second trailer for the highly anticipated movie was shown during the Super Bowl LVI. It was confirmed that Patrick Stewart will reprise his role as Professor Charles Xavier from Fox’s X-Men films.

Benedict Cumberbatch will at least be playing three roles in Doctor Strange 2. The trailers have made it clear that one of his variants will be an enemy. The Super-bow trailer set up a multiverse version of the Illuminati, which could be led by Charles Xavier.

Evil Strange could be in this multiverse. Evil Strange would be a good member of the Illuminati because he knows a lot about the multiverse from his adventures in What If…?, even though he won’t be the bad guy in Multiverse of Madness.

The new Multiverse of Madness trailer made a strong case for the introduction of the Illuminati into the MCU. During the trailer, Strange is taken to what looks like a council hall. As he enters, we get to see six chairs, with only 3 occupied. Later, we hear the voice of Charles Xavier, which means to say he’s confirmed to be in the movie.

Could The Evil Strange Be A Good Strange

All of the members of this multiversal Illuminati are still unknown, as well as what they do. In the comics, the Illuminati met to strategize and protect the world. They also came up with ways to deal with any threats that the earth might face.

The MCU version of the Illuminati seems to be doing the same thing. but on a much bigger scale. There are also rumors that there will be different versions of Tony Stark, Reed Richards, and Black Bolt.

The trailer showed the evil version of Dr. Strange as its main bad guy. However, it doesn’t make sense for evil Strange to be the bad guy in the animated anthology because he went on a journey to become better. It happened in episode 4 of “What If…?,” and in the season finale, Evil Strange was chosen to a Guardian of the Multiverse.

Marvel Studios has made it clear that the evil version of Strange is the main villain of the movie, which could be a misdirection. Marvel has a history of putting people off with their promotional videos, and that seems to be the case with Multiverse of Madness as well.

In The comics, Doctor Strange has always been one of the most important members of the Illuminati. That could be the case in Multiverse of Madness, too. If this version of Doctor Strange is the same one we saw in What If…?, then he knows a lot about the multiverse and its dangers.

So, having this variant of Strange as a member of the Illuminati with Professor X makes sense, both because this variant has been to the multiverse and because the comic is accurate.

The Illuminati

There have been a lot of rumors that Hayley Atwell, who played Captain Carter in the first movie, could be back as a member of the Illuminati in the new movie, Multiverse of Madness.

Because the MCU’s Illuminati, or at least the version we’ll see in Multiverse of Madness, is a multiversal group, there are a lot of different people who could be on the team. Among the six original members of the Illuminati.

They are Iron Man from the Avengers, Mr. Fantastic and Black Bolt from the X-Men, Doctor Strange, and Namor the Submariner from the Atlantis. Captain America, Black Panther, and Beast, a mutant from the X-Men, are also in the group. After Professor X died, Beast took his place.

MCU could be like the comics’ roster, with a few minor changes to it. Patrick Stewart’s Professor X is already a member of the Illuminati, and it’s possible that the version of Evil Strange could be a member as well.

Many people have said that Iron Man will appear in the movie, and since the Illuminati were founded by Stark in the comics, it makes sense that he’ll be a part of the MCU version. It’s also possible that Tom Cruise could play an Iron Man-like character on the team, based on the Ultron sentries that were shown in the trailer.

It’s hard to predict who the members of the MCU’s Illuminati will be. Since the group is made up of people from different universes. Marvel hasn’t said who else is on the secret team, except for Professor X, who is played by Patrick Stewart in the movie.
