Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight, the first MCU hero to star in his own Disney+ series, will premiere in just a few weeks when Marvel Studios kicks off its 2022 slate. One of the MCU’s darkest properties, Moon Knight, will feature an entirely new type of character, one who has never been an Avenger before.

For those who haven’t seen it yet, the MCU’s first appearance of Marc Spector in the spotlight is starting to become clearer. Isaac has expressed his excitement about introducing this new character into the story, which may lead to future encounters with some of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

It’s only a matter of time before some of the MCU’s heavy hitters join forces with Isaac’s Moon Knight character in his first series. One of those franchise stars may be joining forces with him sooner than expected, which is even more exciting.

MCU Avenger Rumored To Be Featured In Moon Knight

Mark Ruffalo
Mark Ruffalo

As reported on The DisInsider Show, Mark Ruffalo will appear in Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight.

“We know Moon Knight is coming out this month, but we have exclusively heard the Bruce Banner, Mark Ruffalo himself, will premiere in Moon Knight.”

Bruce Banner’s role in Moon Knight, his second appearance in the MCU’s Phase 4 after popping up in Shang-Chi’s post-credits scene, has been left unspecified at this time.

As Bruce Banner, Mark Ruffalo will continue to play an important role in Phase 4 of the MCU, which began a decade ago with The Avengers. Aside from a cameo in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, where he appeared in the credits, he will also appear in She-Hulk, which will premiere on Disney+ later this year.

While the series was in production, Ruffalo and Moon Knight star Oscar Isaac were spotted together in Budapest. Ruffalo was quick to respond to the news, saying that he didn’t want to give away anything about his possible role on the show.

With Bruce taking on more of a leadership role in the Avengers following the events of Endgame, Marc Spector would be a person of interest to him in the near future. Given Ruffalo’s legacy as a founding member of The Avengers, the actor’s inclusion would be an exciting development for the storyline.

It’s only a matter of time before Ruffalo’s return as the Hulk in Moon Knight is either confirmed or denied. For those who haven’t yet seen him take on his own Hulk-sized adventures, this would be another exciting team-up of heroes before that.
