The Star Wars is just not about battles and rivalry; some relationships are deeper than that, such as the one between Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano, who is also the Padawan of Anakin. The relationship is also a key factor for the Clone Wars. The relationship was a part of character development for both the character during the War; the dynamics remain valid throughout the end.  Although there are some aspects of the relationship, that quite did not add up.

The Jedi Council was skeptical about the Anakin, still, they gave him a Padawan. A potential explanation is that Ahsoka was a Spy and appointed as Padawan, so the Jedi Council can track Anakin Skywalker’s activities.

Anakin Was Never A Master

Ahsoka And Anakin

According to the Qui-Gon Jinn, Anakin was a powerful boy and showed potential to become one of the greats during his time in Tatooine. Still, the Jedi Council was not ready to train Anakin Skywalker. Then, Darth Maul killed Qui-Gon and that influenced Obi-Wan Kenobi to cajole the Council into letting Anakin train.

Although Obi-Wan wanted good things for Anakin, he and Yoda were always aware of the dark side of the Anakin Skywalker. He was a strong boy, but from very early he was not good with his negative emotions and it became worse over the years.  These emotions made him vulnerable and then Darth Sidious aka Chancellor Palpatine manipulated him and that gave rise to Darth Vader.

Although it is only the one side of the coin and on the other side the council was never fair to the potential of Anakin Skywalker and that also influenced him to slide towards the dark side. Mace Windu had a major impact on Anakin’s descending and after a while, Anakin Skywalker frequently disobeyed the council and pursued his own interests. These equations are the reason for suspecting Ahsoka, if the disregard was mutual and very much out in the open, what was the point to give Anakin Skywalker a Padawan, especially when there was a mentor like Plo Koon.

The Jedi Order

Ahsoka Tano is one of the interesting characters from the Star Wars universe. Tano was from Shili, a small part of Togruta Settlement, the place was devoted to culture and art instead of Violence.  Tano was a Jedi from such a violence-free place, though Ahsoka Tano was not the only one, Shaak Ti was also a Jedi, and the courage Ti showed during overseeing the clone troopers within Kamino, proves the worth of Shaak as Jedi.

Ashoka

Ahsoka had a tragic character backstory, but fortunately, it also includes Ahsoka going to the Jedi temple as a child. She was a born-Jedi and that is why it is more sketchy, as to why the council added someone like Ahsoka Tano to the Ankin Skywalker. Plo Koon was always considered an ideal mentor for Ahsoka Tano, as he was the one to bring her in the coruscant. Plo Koon experienced an undeserved ending alongside thousands of other Jedi during Order66.

Ahsoka and Anakin had an interesting relationship, but it was more intimate between Ahsoka and Plo, and it is justified as she was found and brought in by the Plo. Also from skills, perspective Plo might be a better choice.

Monitoring Anakin

It is evident that the Jedi council never wanted to train Anakin Skywalker, but more importantly, they never trusted him and during Clone wars Anakin Skywalker was a mixed bag for them so for their own nefarious reasonings they appointed a spy in the form of Ahsoka Tano.

This is not something odd from the Jedi Council, the council took several similar attempts during the Clone Wars. The council had used “Padme Amidala” for spying on Rush Clovis, and the biggest evidence for their desperation shows when they used Anakin Skywalker as a spy towards Chancellor Palpatine.

Jedi CouncilI know the only stone in the story is that Ahsoka Tano was not that shallow to her mentor, but there was a possibility that she might do not know that she was supposed to be a spy. She just had to record her works and answer to present to the council about everything on a regular basis.  So, it was highly unlikely her knowing that she might be a spy, even if she does, she shared a bond with Anakin skywalker. She followed him and Anakin was also a good mentor towards Ahsoka Tano, as, without him, she might not be alive after Order 66. Also if Ahsoka was indeed a part of “Jedi High Council Plot”, it was a comment on the company and it seems like the fault of the creators.
