Will fans really see Chris Hemsworth’s Thor in Deadpool 3? When Disney acquired Fox, everyone was very happy. The X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and other characters would now be available for use in Marvel Studios’ movies and streaming series. Then there was Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool, which people began to worry about. As an anti-hero, how would he fit in with Disney and the MCU?
Fortunately, it appears that everything will work out in the end. There has been a lot of movement on the project, including the presence of writers and a director. Either way, it has been vowed that the franchise will maintain its R-Rated roots.
What Deadpool can now parody now that he’s a part of the MCU is mind-boggling. It used to be just the X-Men, but now it’s almost everything. Which of the Avengers might be the first to come into contact with Wade Wilson, according to the writers? The answer may be none other than Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, thanks to Netflix’s recent collaboration.
Two Deadpool 3 writers have spoken to Den of Geek about their project on Ryan Reynolds’ debut Marvel Studios film, Deadpool 3: Apocalypse.
Upon being questioned about whether or not Wendy Molyneaux and Lizzy Molyneaux, the writers behind Bob’s Burgers, have used elements from previous drafts of the script, Reese said that:
“[they] have an answer… but [they’re] really not supposed to divulge any plot details.”
A “secret vault” under the ocean, he joked, is where the two of them are currently working. After working with Thor actor Chris Hemsworth on the Netflix film Spiderhead, both Reese and Wernick may have asked for a role in Reynolds’ playground.
Reese said it would be “super cool” if they did, but “if he did, we certainly couldn’t talk about it.”
In all likelihood, Ryan Reynolds is awed by all of the new Marvel and Disney toys he has at his disposal. But who is the most likely to be called upon first? A reference to Spider-Man is a given for the actor, and he will do everything he can to get it.
There is no doubt that fans would be delighted to see Wade Wilson and Peter Parker working together on screen. There’s no limit to the number of jokes you can make about Sony. In terms of Thor, he may not be the obvious choice from the outside, but it’s not uncommon for the unexpected to be the most effective.
Even with the wide-ranging influence Ryan Reynolds has, some characters and topics will remain off-limits. Iron Man and Captain America are likely examples of this, as the studio wants to keep them as sacred as potential. In the distant future, they may be open to attack, but that’s probably a long time off.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the character’s return after four years since the release of Deadpool 2. Wade Wilson’s character seems to be taking the lead among the newly resurrected Fox Marvel properties when it tends to come to his big return more than Fantastic Four.
