For US Spidey fans, it has been a challenge to access Spider-Man films on Disney+ due to the character’s ownership by Sony Pictures. However, past Spider-Man films have made their way onto Disney+ in a select few international markets.

When Will Disney’s Spider-Man Collection Be Complete?

Disney’s Spider-Man Collection

While Disney has been steadily adding Marvel properties to its streaming platform, including the X-Men films and the Netflix Defenders saga, it has yet to acquire all of the Spider-Man movies. This release of Spider-Man: Homecoming on Disney+ brings them closer to having all eight live-action Spidey films under one roof.

However, the collection remains incomplete, and US fans are still awaiting the streaming release of Far From Home and No Way Home. Despite this, it seems that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and co. are working towards acquiring the remaining wall-crawling epics, especially those that relate directly to the MCU.

With another Tom Holland-led Spider-Man movie in the works and an animated streaming series focused on the character, US Disney+ subscribers can expect to enjoy the entire Spider-Man saga from front to back soon.
