Johnny Blaze, better known as Ghost Rider, is one of the many legendary characters that fans are eager to see join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in phase five.

Nicolas Cage previously played Johnny Blaze in the movies Ghost Rider (2007) and Spirit of Vengeance (2011). Tom McComas portrayed him on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

It would definitely be best to cast someone different in the title role in order to completely obliterate the memories of these earlier iterations.

Here are 10 actors we’d like to see play Ghost Rider in the MCU.

10. Alexander Skarsgård

Alexander had auditioned for Thor, but Chris Hemsworth was cast instead. Then Chris Evans took over as Captain America. He was also reported to play Hawkman in DC’s Black Adam film, but Aldis Hodge was instead cast. Nonetheless, Ghost Rider is now a possible role for Skarsgrd in the MCU.

9. Matthew McConaughey

McConaughey might play the part of a grizzled Ghost Rider if Marvel  planned to introduce an older, more experienced Johnny Blaze to guide the younger Robbie Reyes. McConaughey could undoubtedly deliver a remarkable performance. Despite the fact that his part would likely be small in contrast to the Rider character’s younger, less experienced counterpart.

8. Charlie Hunnam

Charlie Hunnam

Hunnam is a good fit because of what he brought to the part of Jax Teller in Sons of Anarchy, although being able to ride a motorcycle and look awesome while doing it is a bonus.
Charlie Hunnam is one of the few motorcycle-riding actors that could play Ghost Rider.

7. Joe Manganiello

Ghost Rider would become more fully realised if Joe Manganiello, who deviates from the norm in terms of appearance and acting prowess, could give his characters a sense of a troubled past.
He has experience portraying challenging roles, and the other talent the MCU would surround him with would let him fit in fairly well.

6. Jensen Ackles

Ackles is most known for his roles in Supernatural and The Boys, which showcased his talent in an action-packed scenario, a requirement for every Marvel movie.
He also went through the casting process for Captain America, but we all know who got the job.

5. Karl Urban

Karl might make a great option for the part of Ghost Rider if given a second chance to enter the Marvel universe. As proven in Star Trek and The Boys, he can play interesting characters and is immensely amusing. He would fit this criteria wonderfully because the MCU loves to include humour in its movies.

4. Antony Starr

It would be intriguing to cast Antony Starr as Ghost Rider. The actor would then have the opportunity to be involved in another comic book project without worrying about being compared to Homelander.
The actor’s next sensible option in his career might be having him take the lead role as the overpowered Ghost Rider.

3. Norman Reedus

Reedus has long been a fan favourite casting pick for Johnny Blaze’s Ghost Rider, especially considering his portrayal in The Walking Dead as a grizzled biker with a golden heart. Norman Reedus, if cast, would be one of many TWD veterans to join the MCU.

2. Keanu Reeves

Reeves has often shown his ability to play a convincing action hero in films like The Matrix, John Wick, and others, so it is obvious that he could manage the more demanding elements of the role.

Also, Keanu Reeves exudes a coolness that cannot be taught. Even in stressful circumstances, his attitude always emanates a sense of calm and control. As a result, he consistently delivers riveting performances; something that Ghost Rider would greatly benefit from.

1. Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling is one of today’s most skilled and respected actors. He has collaborated with several of today’s top directors and starred in a number of high-profile movies. He is an actor who, whenever he appears on screen, captures the interest of viewers and reviewers right away.
Gosling named Ghost Rider as a superhero he’d want to portray. Many fans were intrigued by this, especially in light of the fact that Eva Mendes, Gosling’s wife, had a role in the 2007 movie Ghost Rider. Despite the fact that he was merely having fun. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said that the company would very much like to work with him.
