It didn’t seem like Boba Fett had done much in his life other than going after Han Solo, fall to his Pit of Carkoon death, and look intensely intimidating in Jabba the Hutt’s palace. Now, this certainly doesn’t suit the man who has a reputation of being a fierce bounty hunter all over the galaxy. But this was only till the second season of The Mandalorian came about.

However, till then his reputation was something of a mystery. This was especially since the Return of the Jedi. So this forced fans to look more towards Star Wars Legends to know about his legacy. While Star Wars Legends and its entire gamut of novels, books, etc, which were released before Disney purchased Lucasfilm back in 2012 are not canon, but these are the only things that fans have to learn more about boba.

That is until The Book of Boba Fett arrives on Disney+. However, the series won’t be focusing on the time when the hunter was building up his reputation of being a powerful combatant and a tactical god. So let us fill that gap and reminisce about his time fighting with the Sith Dark Lord to stopping an alien attack. As such, here’s everything that Fett did which aren’t canon anymore.

Boba Fett’s Top 10 Non-Canon Deeds

10. Fought Darth Vader And Yet Worked For Him

It can be said that Boba Fett is one of the only few people who talked back to Vader and yet get to live. Not just live, Vader even worked with Fett and used his talents on multiple occasions. In “Boba Fett; Enemy of the Empire” it’s said that their relationship was so volatile, it’s only a wonder that they could last for so long.

One example of their tenuous relationship is the fact that on Maryx Minor, Fett had secured an artifact that Vader wanted, but had failed to give him that artifact. This proved to be the wrong decision. Due to this the two of them fought over the molten pit. Boba shot Darth Vader fully point-blank while Vader almost took Fett’s life out of him. The only way Fett lived is by kicking that artifact into Lava. So then Vader had to choose between getting it back or killing Fett.

9. Used A Bow To Get A 5-Million Bounty

Boba Fett is one of those hunters who uses simple bows and arrows to hit his target. The man doesn’t rely at all on technology and the best example of this is the fact that he discarded his beskar armor while he was tracking Montellian Serat’s Butcher.

So once he knew that Devaronian’s perimeter defenses could get triggered using his tech gear, he used only a knife and crossbow to infiltrate the place. After that, he waited a week, till his target came out to relieve himself. Avid Star Wars fans will know that Devaronian’s only need to use the toilet once a week. It was then that Fett caught him. In return, he got 5-million credits.

8. Fought Mace Windu

After Jango, Boba Fett’s dad was killed by Mace Windu, Fett swore that he would kill that Jedi. So when he finally mastered the ways of the Mandalorian, he could finally do what he had long wanted to- kill Windu. To do this he ambushed the man in the Coruscant Senate building.

Fett then approached Windu before telling him that he was here to avenge the death of his father. The two fought and Fett was able to stab Windu in his ribs. But Palpatine stopped the fight and so Fett couldn’t kill Windu.

7. Fired Up A Sarlacc

After his jetpack stopped working, people thought that Fett was a Sarlacc’s lunch. But “A Brave Like That,” tells the story of how Boba Fett finds an escape way and regains his jetpack as well as his reputation.

For that, he actually formed a strong mental-bond with those Sarlacc by using its victims’ memories. So Fett was able to lull those creatures into a sense of false security. Oh btw, he was doing this as he was getting digested slowly for years on end.

Over time he was able to restart his jetpack. So he blasted out and scorched the guzzle of the Sarlacc in the way.

6. Squared Off With Han Solo Even Though He Was Dying Of A Deadly Disease

In Tales of the Bounty Hunters, there is a story titled “The Last One Standing: The Tale of Boba Fett”. In here Han Solo and Boba Fett go head to head again during their mid-life crisis. During that time Fett has been using a prosthetic cybernetic leg and is suffering from cancer after he escaped Sarlacc.

Solo on the other hand wanted to experience his old life as a smuggler again. So when Fett came to know that Han Solo is telling his stories of old travels on Jubilar, he decided to surprise him. The two fought even though their strength wasn’t what it was. But just before they are about to kill each other, they stop and contemplate their mortality. As a result, they both choose to spare each other.

5. Outsmarted Vader’s Talented Bounty Hunters, Became The Champion Of Jabba The Hutt

Boba Fett truly was the person who was responsible for capturing Leia and Han. For this victory, he got 300,000 credits and also got Solo’s whole frozen body. However, he, unfortunately, had to fully fight off each of Vader’s other Bounty Hunters just to make sure that he was able to secure the 250,000 credits which were promised by the infamous Jabba the Hutt.

What happened was when Fett reached Jabba’s palace, he found that Vader’s hunters were already searching for him. As a result, Fett used the spare armor suit as a good decoy as he was getting Solo inside.

Also, later on, Jabba made Fett the winner of the demolition games since he used his smarts to turn over his entire gambling empire.

4. Was Instrumental In Turning A War’s Tide In His 70s

In The New Jedi Order novels, Yuuzhan Vong was thought to be an even bigger threat to the galaxy than the entire Empire. Boba Fett was the leader of the Mandalore during that time. So he led the large Mandalorian fleet to take on Vong. However, the Vong who used them as mercenaries didn’t know that Boba was actually supporting the New Republic.

So his warriors kept this ruse while feeding the New Republic Intelligence with vital information. Fett then trained Mandalore’s militia to turn away the Vong. Then once they were all defeated, he teamed up with the Mandalorian Protectors to free the Vong-controlled planets.

3. Fought With Jedi Fugitive Called Obi-Wan Kenobi

When Boba Fett was working for an Imperial Grand-Inquisitor, then his job was to get important information about the one and only Padme Amidala. For this, he worked with D’harhan, a famed bounty hunter, and followed the Jedi to Bellassa planet where all of them were trying to stop a ferocious Rebel uprising.

On the Red Twin dying stars, Boba Fett fought with Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was a fugitive then. Fett almost killed the Master and also drove him away from the entire system. It was years later that he would go into Ben’s hut while on Tatooine looking for Luke Skywalker to gun down.

2. Lost A Bet, Collected Bounty On Own Client

In Star Wars: Droids, Fett was hired to kill an entire racing team, just as they were preparing their landspeeders for the Race called Boonta Speeder. Now, Fett did try to sabotage their vehicles before the race begins. But later on, he has to enter the race himself.

This was because, unknown to Fett, it was his client who had fixed a bomb on his victim’s speeder. As a result, it was threatening the safety of Fett. Now, his target did end up winning, but Fett was so tired of the entire thing that he captured and took his client called Fromm to Jabba the Hutt.

1. Taught Han Solo’s Daughter In Combat To Defeat A Sith Lord

Boba Fett was appalled when he came to know that Jacen, Han Solo’s daughter had become the new Sith Dark Lord called Darth Caedus. So he gave Solo a beskar armor and a note that told him to kill ‘his vermin spawn.’

Jaina was impressed with the note and armor so she used the Bounty Hunter’s deep hatred of the Jedi to help her finally hunt down Caedus. So Fett decided to train the girl in Bounty Hunter ways even though he had left behind that life long ago.

These are our top 10 Boba Fett moments that are not canon anymore. But what are yours? Tell us what will you include in the list? Or how will you change the order of these listings if you can?
