The Young Avengers team-up has been a part of Marvel comics for a long time. While Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man take care of Galactic-level problems. While these younglings usually take care of the ground-level villains and report to the main Avengers team if the crisis is bigger than theirs.
There are plenty of characters in the current and upcoming MCU projects, which can be part of this team. And be adored by the coming generations.
In the Falcon and Winter Soldier TV series, we get to learn that the US government kept experimenting to create a new breed of super soldiers like Captain America. The duo finds a former soldier named Isaiah Bradley, who went through the same ordeal. Isaiah is now living a secluded life with his grandson Eli Bradley.
In the comics, Eli goes on to become Patriot, who is also a founding member of the Young Avengers. He has the super-soldier serum in his DNA and goes on to lead the team just like Cap did.
Now that Sam Wilson has moved on to become the new Captain America, he also passed his wings to a young soldier name Joaquin Torres. Torres gained Sam’s trust with his loyalty over the series. He will surely get to come back as the new Falcon, the most trusted ally of the new Cap.
There is one character whose growth we have all witnessed through the different phases of MCU. That is Scott Lang’s daughter, Cassie Lang. In the comics, she eventually follows her father’s footsteps in saving the world using the Pym particles. She adopted the name Stature and is an active part of Young Avengers comics. Since she has been already in the MCU for a long time, she will be one of the best characters to take part in the on-screen team.
The Loki TV series was one of the most thrilling adventures for MCU fans. Plus it gave us tonnes of Loki variants which were fun. One of the best variants was hand down, Kid Loki.
Having already proven that he is different because he killed Thor in his timeline. Kid Loki will be an interesting part of Young Avengers because of his violent past, and it will be hardest for him to assimilate into the team.
Following the events of Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, Chavez becomes Dr. Strange’s protege and starts her training in Kamar-Taj. Her sorcery powers and ability to travel inter-dimension will give a major boost to the Young Avengers. She is also part of the team in comics.
Wanda’s sons introduced in the Wandavision series, Billy and Tommy have also been in comics as Wiccan and Speed respectively. During Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, they are present on Earth-838. Both the kids have special powers, one is a speedster and another can change reality. Just like her mother and uncle.
Though Kamala Khan has never been part of Young Avengers in the comics, there can be no issues from her side if she is invited. Being a fan of superheroes within MCU, Kamala has stricken a match with almost every MCU fan. Getting into an Avengers team (even Young Avengers) will her dream come true.
Kate Bishop (also the new Hawkeye) is actually one of the best Young Avengers team members in the comics. Introduced in the Hawkeye TV series, she was very well received as a character. And we certainly cannot wait to see her become a fully-fledged superhero after getting trained by Clint barton himself.
