The listing, which includes showrunner Jac Schaeffer and other writers, describes the show as a “drama.” Notably, it is categorized differently from the upcoming Agatha: Coven of Chaos spin-off, which is labeled as a “comedy.”

Possible Delays:

While the traditional television definition places the 2024-2025 season between July 2024 and June 2025, there are factors that could lead to a delay in Vision Quest’s release. Recent delays in the MCU schedule, ongoing writers’ strike, and Schaeffer’s focus on the production of Coven of Chaos may result in the show releasing later in 2025 or even in 2026.

The Writers And Development:

Several writers have been revealed to be involved with Vision Quest. Jac Schaeffer, the executive producer and showrunner of WandaVision, will perform the same duties for this spin-off. Joining her are WandaVision alumni Megan McDonnell and Peter Cameron, as well as Eileen Shim from House of the Dragon. They will work under Schaeffer’s leadership in the writers’ room.
