What does Armor Wars’ filming update look like? This lull in the MCU may be temporary, but it will be short-lived as Moon Knight kicks off a new run of superhero adventures on Disney+. Armor Wars is a less well-known streaming project. The series is expected to premiere sometime around 2023. However, the exact date has not yet been determined.

As Don Cheadle a.k.a. War Machine navigates the post-Avengers: Endgame MCU, Armor Wars will carry on RDJ’s Tony Stark legacy. Since the end of Endgame, Cheadle hasn’t appeared in any Marvel Studios films. For this reason, fans are eager to know what Rhodey has been uptoArmor Wars appears to be James Rhodes/War Machine’s solo project in the same manner that Hawkeye and Black Widow were for long-standing MCU characters. Even though the show is still at least 18 months away, a positive production update has been provided for the undertaking.

Armor Wars Shooting Date

To keep the Armor Wars filming update simple, a tweet from Lizzie Hall of My Cosmic Circus reveals that Armor Wars will begin filming in the fall of 2022.

Hill responded to a tweet stating that filming for the upcoming Don Cheadle series would begin in May. She further clarified that production will now begin this year in Atlanta, Georgia in “October/November.”

Time Is All We Need

Despite the fact that Armor Wars filming will begin in October/November, it makes a lot of sense. Like Ironheart and Secret Invasion, this series feels like it is part of Disney+’s future MCU projects.

For the time being, Marvel on Disney’s streaming service, has a vague idea of what it will look like in 2022. Consequently, 2023 is still a big unknown. Now we know that Armor Wars will begin filming at the end of the year. This suggests that it will be released sometime after 2022.

In terms of a 2023 release date, Secret Invasion appears to have the best chance. If that is the case, then Armor Wars makes sense as a continuation of the Skrull conspiracy led by Nick Fury.

As of right now, not much is known about Rhodey’s iron-plated adventure. However, it’s safe to assume that, like Tony’s armor in that godforsaken cave, an official shooting schedule will be unveiled soon enough. When it comes to preproduction, Armor Wars and its creative team have to put their feet up for now.
