Many fans were perplexed when Agatha: House of Harkness was first announced. There was never a strong desire from the general public to see the character get a solo outing despite the public’s love for her debut in WandaVision. Marvel Studios, on the other hand, is certain that they have a story to tell and is working hard to do so.

The last time fans saw the villain, Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch had imprisoned her in Westview. It’s not clear what happened afterwards. Some speculated that she would appear in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, but it’s clear that wasn’t going to happen.

Jac Shaeffer, the former head writer of the Disney+ original series, Agatha: House of Harkness, has added several writers from WandaVision and Moon Knight to his team. That same information, however, revealed an approximate time frame for when the new show will be available on streaming services.

In other words, when will fans be able to take part in this exciting new adventure?

What is the release date of Agatha: House of Harkness?

Agatha Harkness

Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha: House of Harkness has been given an official release date thanks to the Writers Guild of America.

For the upcoming 2023-2024 television season, the show is listed as a comedy, suggesting that it will premiere in the latter half of 2023 or the early part of 2024.

The project is presently scheduled to begin production in late October. If all goes according to plan, a Halloween 2023 premiere is possible. Because of delays in production and post-production, the show could easily be pushed back in the future.

Before Agatha, what Marvel projects will they be releasing?

The release date in the distant future isn’t all that surprising. There is a seemingly endless amount of Marvel Studios content to choose from.

There will be more than a dozen other Disney+ projects to experience before Agatha is released. In addition to Ms Marvel, She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, What If…?, I Am Groot, Werewolf by Night, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and more.

It may seem like a long time until the next instalment of The Avengers is released, but fans will be preoccupied with the MCU stories that come before it, so they won’t notice the passage of time.

We can only hope it tells a compelling story for Agatha as well as Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch, who may be willing to proceed with her journey with the help of Kathryn Hahn’s witch.
