Charlie Cox appearing in She-Hulk after showing up in Spider-Man: No Way Home sent fans in a tizzy. After all, fans’ relentless campaigns was one of the reasons Cox was able to put on Matt Murdock’s glasses again. This coupled with the D23 announcement of Daredevil finally getting his own series meant that the character and Charlie were finally in the MCU properly.

The Disney+ show will star Charlie Cox and Vincent Onofrio with other cast members to be announced soon. It also has a working title called ‘Out The Kitchen‘, and now we also know when the show will film. The Illuminerdi reports that:

“Daredevil: Born Again will shoot on location in New York City, starting in February 2023 and lasting until the year’s end in December. Of course, this could change given any unforeseen hiccups, but Marvel Studios currently plans to use the majority of 2023 to film Born Again.”

Does Using New York Mean The Show Is A Continuation Of The Netflix One?

Netflix too used New York, especially Brooklyn and Long Island to film its Daredevil show. So Marvel choosing to film in New York as well (even though we don’t know the exact locations till now) could mean that there’s some continuation between the two shows.

When Charlie Cox was asked about the MCU show possibly continuing the Netflix one, he replied in an interview with IGN that:

“Born Again is iconically a Daredevil run in the comics and it’s a great title for our show because we are doing this show again in a new way. I think the show will be slightly tonally different — I don’t know how yet — I haven’t read anything yet. We’re doing 18 episodes, that tells me that the structure and the way we’re going to tell our story will be slightly different.”

It remains to be seen just how or if the Born Again Daredevil show will continue the Netflix one.
