In this season of Doctor Strange speculations, we have more than enough exciting leaks. We’re about 100 days away from the release of Doctor Strange 2, and we’re hearing all kinds of intriguing, yet unconfirmed, rumors about the sequel. To put it simply, all of them include information about the rumored Multiverse of Madness cameos. Unlike Spider-Man: No Way Home, the leaks for this film aren’t always on the same page as each other. Until now, we’ve seen a lot of conflicting reports about Marvel’s planned cameos. Hugh Jackman has been the subject of recent Doctor Strange 2 rumors, which date back to early 2020.

The X-Men have always been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There’s a general belief that Marvel is going to reboot the X-Men and bring the mutants into line with the MCU story. Hugh Jackman’s iconic Wolverine could appear in Multiverse of Madness. On the other hand, there is some disagreement as to whether or not Jackman actually shot sequences for the upcoming Doctor Strange movie.

Fans have been asking Hugh Jackman about playing Wolverine in Doctor Strange 2 for some time now. There’s no doubt Wolverine will make an appearance in the film after the actor dropped a very obvious hint. There have been numerous rumors suggesting that Hugh Jackman has been in contact with Marvel Studios.

Regardless of what seems to be a troll from Jackman himself, the Prisoners actor continues to deny these rumors. In spite of Hugh Jackman’s repeated denials, it is clear that he is returning to the role of Wolverine. However, this was before we learned of the reshoots for Doctor Strange 2. Marvel undertook a lengthy round of reshoots. It was like making a new film, according to someone who was involved in the production.

According to sources, Marvel wanted to make changes to the story because of its flaws. However, they also requested more cameos from the cast. There were also rumors that Hugh Jackman would play Wolverine in Doctor Strange 2 at the same time. They say that he will join the other X-Men in the battle against this film’s main villain. Doctor Strange and the rest of his team will be facing off against Wanda in battles spanning the multiverse.

So far, there’s no word on whether or not Hugh Jackman will return for Doctor Strange 2. If this sounds familiar, it’s because Tom Cruise, another actor widely speculated to show up in the sequel, has been the subject of conflicting reports.

According to two well-known MCU insiders, the latest Jackman rumors are true. ViewerAnon claims that before the reshoots, Jackman was not in the film. While Doctor Strange 2 reshoots were going on, he was busy working on The Music Man as well.

Meanwhile, according to a separate report by MyTimeToShineHello, Hugh Jackman will not be returning for Doctor Strange 2. However, the insider claims that he may show up in the Secret Wars TV series in the future.

Hugh Jackman’s return to the role of Wolverine appears to be a top priority for Marvel. Doctor Strange 2, on the other hand, may eschew such an outcome.

Fans should be aware of this before the film is released in theaters. Managing your anticipations for Multiverse of Madness will ensure that you aren’t disappointed when some crazy cameo leaks don’t pan out. In other words, this isn’t No Way Home, where nearly everything about the film was leaked months before its release date.

To be fair, the new Spider-Man film was only hiding two major twists. As a result, Doctor Strange 2 could feature numerous other thrilling cameos, not just Hugh Jackman’s return.
