Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch has risen in popularity among MCU fans after “WandaVision.” However, the character’s sad demise in “Doctor Strange 2” led many to wonder when the character will return. Thankfully, at long last, the MCU star herself had answered this question.

Elizabeth Olsen Answers If She Will Return To The MCU

Elizabeth Olsen, who portrays Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), recently made an appearance at Comfest Con 2023. There she teased her potential return to the franchise. While she did not reveal any specific details, she hinted that her character will be back in some capacity.

When asked about what she wanted for Scarlet Witch, Olsen appeared hesitant to say too much. But the actress seemed excited to be returning to the MCU and hinted that there may be some surprises in store for fans of the franchise. She said:

Well, honestly, if I were to tell you exactly what I would want, I think I would be spoiling something. Because Kevin Feige genuinely asks us what we want to do with the character and then he does it. So… I don’t know if I can share, but I just want to come back!

Where Will Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch Return?

Fans of the Scarlet Witch want to see her return as soon as possible to the MCU. But the question is, in which project can she return. Speculation is rife that the “WandaVision” spinoff show, “Agatha: Coven of Chaos,” may feature a surprise appearance from the Scarlet Witch.

Given the close connection between the two characters in “WandaVision,” it would make sense for Wanda to make a return to the MCU through this show. As for which films in Phase 6 she might appear in, “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” and “Avengers: Secret Wars” are among the most likely candidates. After all, it’s almost prophesized that she will fight Kang.

Also, fans want to see Wanda as a mutant and utter her famous “No more mutants” line from the comics. So maybe she will return with the X-Men in the MCU. As for her solo film, there have been no updates about that.

Only time will tell whether or not these theories come to fruition and whether we will get to see Scarlet Witch back in action on the big screen.
