Even though WandaVision is only available for one season, fans will definitely get to see season 2. As part of Doctor Strange 2, Scarlet Witch will stand alongside Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange in an Avengers-level crossover event. This will certainly guarantee to rewire the very fabric of the MCU.

A pair of trailers for Doctor Strange 2 have sparked a flurry of speculation about the film’s plot. Olsen’s Wanda is heavily featured in both trailers, with the latest set of footage highlighting her darker side the most.

When it comes to the plot, Wanda Maximoff’s transformation into a villainous baddie is a welcome development. As of yet, Olsen’s exploitation of Wanda’s evil tendencies shows that the Scarlet Witch is only getting started.

Wanda’s journey through the Multiverse of Madness will be heroic in the same way that Doctor Strange’s is. Although Wanda’s heel turn may or may not continue until the Doctor Strange 2 credits, a redeemable story for the sitcom enthusiast awaits.

Here Comes WandaVision Again

The only way a limited series can survive is through a follow-up show. At the 79th Annual Golden Globes, Marvel Studios’ submission of WandaVision to various “Limited Series” categories effectively killed off hopes for a season 2. However, the Westview universe can still go on. Kathryn Hahn’s spin-off series, Agatha: House of Harkness, will center on the WandaVision antagonist. Furthermore, it has already been given the green light by Disney.

Scarlet Witch could be a continuation of WandaVision’s legacy. Meanwhile, Captain America 4 will pick up where The Falcon and the Winter Soldier left off. Doctor Strange 2 has yet to reveal Wanda’s next destination. However, promotional material for the May release of Marvel’s Scarlet Witch is full of hints as to where she might end up.

After Doctor Strange 2, the most natural place for Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff to appear is Agatha: House of Harkness. It’s uncertain where Marvel Studios will take Agatha in her solo story arc. However, Wanda can’t be far behind if she sticks to her wicked ways.

In the series finale of WandaVision, the Scarlet Witch redoubled her efforts to imprison Agatha in Westview for all time. Is one of the two Wandas in Westview’s familiar living room capable of freeing Agatha from her prison?

Like Avengers: Endgame, Doctor Strange 2 is likely to have a scene that sets up the House of Harkness and Tom Hiddleston’s Loki series. There’s a good chance Wanda will appear in Agatha, especially if she plays a major role at that moment.

How Is Vision Connected To The Multiverse?

Vision

The Vision of Avengers: Age of Ultron is no longer operational, but a resurrected version of the ivory android is still out there. A future appearance by White Vision in the MCU was hinted at in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer.

Wanda acknowledges that her late husband, Vis, “had his theories” about the Multiverse before confirming that he thought it was “dangerous.”

Some of the multiversal risks have already manifested themselves. As Tom Holland’s Peter Parker was forced to abandon all of his associations in order to avoid a clash of realities, NWH, which came out last December, sheds unfortunate light on the consequences of interfering with the Multiverse.

Based on WandaVision’s post-credits scene, Wanda will also be tempted by the Multiversal temptations. Billy and Tommy Maximoff’s cries suggest that Wanda’s long-lost twins are in danger. However, going after them could have far more serious consequences. Like Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ Dweller in Darkness, the Maximoff twins’ interjections could be an attempt to entice Wanda into giving in to her temptations by promising her immortality.

However, Wanda would get a new storyline, which would be unfortunate for Doctor Strange. In order to track down Billy and Tommy from another dimension, you’ll have to track down a Vision Variant as well. There is a possibility that Billy and Tommy’s cries for “Mom!” do not belong to the character played by Elizabeth Olsen, but rather to a Scarlet Witch Variant who is in danger. What if it was a Vision Variant who lost his Wanda in this universe?

Love Triangle Revealed

White Vision in WandaVision

An intimate story with WandaVision-like elements would be possible if this Vision Variant was pursued by the MCU’s Wanda.

Wanda is the one on the outside, observing the action. As soon as Scarlet Witch leaves Westview, she loses all her power. This in return is a complete reversal of Scarlet Witch’s position in WandaVision.

The Marvel Comics run of The Vision could also provide a storyline focusing on the android’s family of robots. It’s possible that Wanda’s realization that Vision can be happy without her will cause a love triangle.

With the emergence of White Vision, that triangle may quickly become a square. Despite its continued presence in the MCU, Paul Bettany’s Vision appears to have infused the SWORD superbot with all of his knowledge. The fact that White Vision saw the Multiverse as “dangerous” in Bettany’s vision suggests that he might have made it his mission to keep all realities stable.

White Vision intervenes when he notices Wanda Maximoff from the MCU trying to impose her will on a Vision Variant’s life. This results in a love triangle that rivals Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

To maintain WandaVision’s feel until there’s a season 2, there are plenty of mature sitcoms that thrive on a complicated love storyline. Maximoffs are ready to transform everything from Friends to How I Met Your Mother.

When The X-Perts Make Their Way In

Pietro and Wanda Maximoff

Wanda in the MCU is the daughter of a Sokovian couple. Nonetheless, there’s still room for a comedic take on the Scarlet Witch’s origins.

Wanda Maximoff and Pietro Maximoff are both Magneto’s children on the page. The X-Men’s rights have been returned to Marvel Studios since March 2019. This is when the MCU ditched this relationship because the mutants were under the 20th Century Fox banner at the time.

For the past three years, Kevin Feige’s writers’ room has been home to Mutants and the Fantastic Four. That will all change in May. In Doctor Strange 2, Patrick Stewart’s Professor X will be a member of the Illuminati. However, it’s not clear if this will be the same Professor X from the X-Men films.

Erik Lensherr can’t be far behind Charles Xavier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, given how well-known he is. A Scarlet Witch Variant could be the subject of a follow-up for WandaVision season 2. This would only serve to highlight the magic user’s villainous tendencies. X-Men: Apocalypse revealed that Evan Peters’ Peter Maximoff was Magneto’s son. This gives him the perfect opportunity to reprise his role as Quicksilver.

X-Men canon has always been a mess, but exploring the Multiverse opens the door to the impossible. In the 136-second Doctor Strange 2 trailer, the Scarlet Witch of the MCU showed that there’s still plenty of stories to tell with the MCU’s Scarlet Witch. A fan’s imagination runs wild after two hours of watching Multiverse of Madness.
