Senior UK defense sources said last night that Russian forces may only be able to fight at full strength for another ten to 14 days. After that, Putin’s men will have a hard time keeping the ground they’ve already taken from Ukrainian troops. Kyiv is said to be on the run from Moscow. The Russian army could be just two weeks away from a culmination point, at which point the strength of Ukraine’s resistance should become greater than Russia’s attacking force, UK defense sources say. There have already been no more moves across Ukraine because Moscow has run out of men. President Volodymyr Zelensky said that in an early-morning speech to the people of Ukraine, his military is still causing devastating losses to Russian troops.

It says it still has control of all major cities, including the port city of Mariupol, which was hit hard by the war. At least two more people were killed by Russian rockets; as the attacks on the capital continued yesterday.

People in the town of Bovary, which is east of Kyiv; say a town council member was killed in fighting there. Wreckage from a missile that was shot down hit a residential street in Kyiv. One person died and six were hurt. The bus was destroyed and an apartment building was set on fire by the debris. After a Russian plane hit an apartment block in the Obolon district of Kyiv, residents were rescued by ladders.

At least two people died in the early hours of the morning, and many more were hurt. Russian planes also hit homes in the eastern city of Kharkiv and near the important southern city of Mykolaiv. There were also explosions around the Russian-controlled Black Sea port of Kherson overnight, which is near the coast.
