In a newly released clip from The Flash, fans catch a glimpse of an embarrassing moment involving Barry Allen and his crush, Iris West. Played by Kiersey Clemons, Iris is seen approaching Barry, portrayed by Ezra Miller, and asking if they can have a conversation.

Barry, known for his super speed, quickly zooms around his apartment in an attempt to tidy up before letting Iris in. However, things take a turn for the worse when a closet door bursts open, causing Barry’s personal items to crash to the floor. Despite the awkwardness, Barry tries to move past the mishap by offering Iris a drink, which she promptly accepts.

The Flash’s Use Of Humor and Heart

This interaction between Barry and Iris marks their first on-screen encounter in the Flash movie, although Clemons’ scenes were originally intended for the 2017 Justice League film. Unfortunately, those scenes were cut from the final version. However, director Zack Snyder included the abandoned footage in his director’s cut of Justice League in 2021, and now Clemons’ Iris has been fully restored for The Flash.

Iris’s role as Barry’s love interest is expected to contribute to his character development throughout the movie. The Flash promises to be a film that combines humor and emotion, as trailers and teasers have already hinted. This newly released footage further reinforces these expectations, portraying Barry in a relatable and more down-to-earth situation.

It’s evident that The Flash is not just another Multiversal story but a personal journey for Barry Allen.
