What could possibly be the major Doctor Strange 2 leak? The Multiverse of Madness, one of Marvel’s most ambitious solo films, will open the studio’s next slate of summer blockbusters. Doctor Strange 2 has gotten a lot of leaks. However, they don’t compare to NWH’s in terms of sheer volume.

Almost all of this has to do with recent leaks of cameos and guest appearances. This could be as big as NWH’s. With Sam Raimi still unsure if the film is finished three months before its release, the ingredients are there for another game-changing sequel.

Recently, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld shared his thoughts and opinions about this upcoming blockbuster with the rest of the Marvel Universe. Doctor Strange 2 won’t have his Merc with a Mouth (for now). However, the comic writer recently suggested that what he’s heard about the sequel coming in May is true.

What Rob Liefeld Says About Doctor Strange 2 Leaks

The Big Thing with Kristian Harloff, a YouTube show hosted by Rob Liefeld, creator of Deadpool, talked about the buzz surrounding the upcoming Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness film. Specifically, he addressed the current state of the movie’s core story and the rumors of upcoming cameos.

To confirm that the screenings are taking place on a regular basis, Liefeld asked Harloff and co-host Coy Landreau if they had tried to get into a test screening for the sequel:

“Here’s the deal you all know, I want to know — have either of you been caught trying to sneak into a screening of Doctor Strange 2? …They are testing the shit out of this movie.”

Aside from regular screenings, major moments from those screenings are leaked to the general public before the film is released:

“The thing is, uh, they’re testing, it’s all getting out. We’re all guilty of hitting those hashtags, there’s always that one guy because, here’s how I know…”

“More Cool Shit” For Marvel

While there have been rumors of a major cameo in Multiverse of Madness, Liefeld has made it very clear that some of it “is happening” and that individuals have already seen it:

“I think it’s safe to say some of the stuff, you just said that’s out there, it’s happening. It’s in, it’s been seen… And so dude, give us lots of that.”

Marvel Studios’ thought process after each reported test screening was also revealed by Liefeld. This is what Deadpool creator Ryan Reynolds has been saying: Marvel desires “more cool shit” in the film with each new key plot point and/or cameo:

“But yeah, Doctor Strange… to answer that other question and, you know, whatever they’re testing. I kind of feel like each… result of each test that’s being reported in the press is ‘We need to put more cool shit in that movie.'”

Finally, Deadpool creator Ryan Reynolds said he “knows” that Fox-centric material will be in the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel:

“You want me to see it six times, you bring some of that [Fox-Marvel] stuff in… And actually, I know on some level, some of it is already there. I have just revoked every – every one of my [Marvel] passes just got revoked.”

The Reality Of The Multiverse

In the first trailer for the film, an evil Dr. Strange steals the show, but Marvel Studios hasn’t revealed much about how big Dr. Strange’s role in the Multiverse of Madness could be. Even Liefeld’s reassurance that all the leaks and rumors about characters and staggering moments have been proven false should only ratchet up the excitement.

The amount of new information that fans are receiving about who might appear in this film, which goes far beyond Doctor Strange’s solo story, is almost as frequent as it was with Spider-Man: No Way Home.

In addition to Wanda Maximoff’s co-starring role and a cameo appearance by Tom Hiddleston, the film tying into both Loki and WandaVision from Disney+ is what kicks things off. It’s possible that Multiverse of Madness could take on the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises. Here they would use both the iconic cast members from those films as well as fresh faces.

The 2022 sequel has yet to be announced, so it’s impossible to predict exactly what will happen. And, with only three months until the premiere, anything is still possible. Liefeld, on the other hand, appears to be hinting at a massive expansion of the Multiverse.
