After all, the ominous Nilfgaardian Cahir is pursuing Ciri because he wants her power more than he wants to end the Cintran line. While Andrzej Sapkowski’s original novels confirm that Ciri will eventually learn how to channel her power directly, giving her the ability to control time, the Witcher series has yet to reveal exactly what powers a Source possesses. Despite being born into a family of powerful witches, Ciri is becoming more potent than Geralt in The Witcher 2. All thanks to her mentor, she’s getting the help to gain confidence in her abilities as she learns more about her heritage as a Source.
