The studio recognized its mistake and apologized to Sandberg for not keeping him in the loop about the marketing campaign. Sandberg explained that he was surprised and didn’t know about Wonder Woman’s appearance in the marketing campaign. He also noted that the studio apologized to him for not keeping him in the loop.
